Back-to-school: Now is the time for your child’s annual physical

As the summer winds down, now is a good time to schedule your child’s annual physical. Many schools encourage parents to schedule annual exams for their children around the time the school year starts, or even a little before. At this time, you get the necessary forms and permissions signed for school programs and activities so your child is ready to participate on day one. It’s also a good time to check in with your child’s provider about not just physical health, but also your child’s mental and emotional wellbeing.
