Institute staff attend the Black Family Wellness Expo in Harlem

On March 21, Institute staff were glad to attend at the Black Family Wellness Expo at the Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem, a special event with health information, activities and community resources. In attendance were Gail Monroe-Perry, Vice President for Talent Development and Acquisition; Dr. Shelly Taylor Soetan, the Institute’s Dental Director; Diabetes Educator Juliana Martinez; and Recruiter Mawuli Pompey.

Nearly 250 guests attended the event and enjoyed activities such as meditation and yoga sessions, free health screenings, giveaways and family fun.

The event was organized by The Links, Incorporated of Greater New York and Metro Manhattan.
