Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Cindy-Lou Killikelly is the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Nursing at the Institute for Family Health. She joined the Institute for Family Health in 2011 as a Registered Nurse. Ms. Killikelly has served as the Nurse Manager at two of the Institute’s Bronx Sites. In 2016, she became the Regional Nursing Director of the Bronx Region, and the following year the Regional Nursing Director of the Downstate Region. Ms. Killikelly became Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Ms. Killikelly provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the Nursing department and is a part of the executive management team. Before joining the Institute, Ms. Killikelly’s nursing experience was in Intensive Care. She graduated with a law degree and completed her nursing degree at London South Bank University. Ms. Killikelly completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration and Leadership at Empire State University and is ambulatory care certified. Additionally, she is a certified Advanced Nurse Executive. She is also a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL), the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN).
