Perinatal care includes health care for pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. Our team is here to help you get the most out of your pregnancy and birth experience.
We offer:
- Routine check-ups during pregnancy
- Medical care and referrals for pregnancy-related conditions
- Mental health services and counseling
- Postpartum care
- Newborn care and check-ups
Perinatal Care Management
We offer perinatal care navigation to support you during this important stage of your life. We will help you schedule regular check-ups and take care of you from the prenatal stage through delivery and postpartum.
We will continue to care for you and your baby and help connect you to services that support your growing family.
Perinatal Care Management services include:
- Regularly scheduled prenatal visits
- Care coordination
- Referral and connection to community partners and resources to support pregnancy and parenting (for example, WIC, Doulas, Parenting classes)
- Prenatal and childbirth education
- Help creating a birth plan
- Postpartum care for you and your baby
- Infant feeding and lactation support
- Mental health education and support
Affordable Care
No one is turned away
The Institute for Family Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurance plans. If you do not have health insurance, we can help. Ask us about how to apply for our sliding-fee discount program. You may be eligible based only on income and family size.
